Sexual orientation

An individual’s inherent internal capacity to experience sexual, romantic, or emotional attraction to people of a particular sex or gender. Initially the concept encompassed heterosexual, homosexual, and bisexual orientation, but as understanding moved beyond the gender binary and broadened the conception of sexuality, the variations of sexual orientation have also become more diverse.
