International Classification of Diseases (ICD)

The principal document of the World Health Organization, which defines the coding of diagnoses by categories of diseases and conditions requiring medical care and forms the basis of the health systems of UN member states. The 10th revision of the ICD depathologized homosexuality and bisexuality, and the ICD-11 also depathologized being transgender. As of today, the ICD-10 remains in force in Ukraine, while the ICD-11 is in the process of being implemented.
