Memorandum of cooperation with UNITY Clinic
We are glad to announce that Insight NGO has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the UNITY clinic — the first gender clinic in Ukraine. This is an important step toward creating high-quality, accessible, and barrier-free medical care for transgender people and the whole LGBTQI+ community.
What does our cooperation mean?
– Exchange of experience and expertise between the organization and the medical institution
– Psychological and psychotherapeutic support for LGBTQI+ people
– Educational events on mental and physical health
– Countering discrimination in healthcare
– Growing a culture of health care within the LGBTQI+ community.
Signing this memorandum is the result of long-term work by our specialists and the specialists of the Unity clinic, who had already been helping the community at the start of the journey and now provide full support at every stage of transition. We are confident that together we can do even more for the transgender community in Ukraine.
