Training for attorneys: registration is open!

We invite practicing attorneys to the intensive course “Effective strategies for defending and representing the interests of victims in gender-based violence cases.”

 Date and venue:
June 5–7, 2025, just outside Kyiv.

We invite practicing attorneys who work with GBV cases or want to work with them.
The program covers the specifics of representing victims, an analysis of case law (Supreme Court and ECHR rulings), work with expert examinations, and the review of court decisions.

Trainer: Oksana Huz — an attorney specializing in discrimination and gender-based violence cases.

 Requirements: a valid attorney’s license, attendance on every day of the training, and motivation to work on GBV.

 Accommodation, meals, and travel are covered by the organizers.

 The application deadline is May 5, 2025.
