Tender. Procurement of lawyers’ services for the provision of legal counseling
Insight NGO announces a tender for the procurement of lawyers’ services.
The tender is announced with the financial support of UN Trust Fund within the project: “Improving the access of women from marginalized groups to comprehensive support services during the war in Ukraine”, which provides for the procurement of lawyers’ services to deliver legal support to women who have survived gender-based violence (GBV).
Tender timeline: proposals for participation in the tender are accepted until 23:59 Kyiv time on October 13, 2024 to the email address [email protected] with the mandatory subject line: “Proposal for tender No. PF.UN_INSIGHT_2024.02 provision of legal services”.
Proposals sent to a different address or in a form other than the one provided for by this request, or that fail to maintain the proper level of confidentiality, or that are received after the indicated date and time, will be rejected.
Subject of procurement: Legal services in the form of individual legal consultations for women who have survived gender-based violence (GBV), delivered online. The services include: preparing templates for applications, complaints, appeals, and other documents needed to resolve the issue the client came with; analyzing incoming requests in order to determine whether they need to be referred elsewhere.

List of responsibilities
Conducting an initial legal assessment of the situation and advising on the available legal avenues of protection.
● Providing legal information on the current legislation in the field of countering domestic and gender-based violence.
● Assistance in preparing appeals, complaints, and applications to the police, the courts, social protection authorities, and so on.
● Legal support in obtaining restraining orders, court decisions, and other legal protection mechanisms.
● Conducting online consultations (one legal consultation should take on average 1 hour and must not exceed 2 hours of work on a single request), observing ethical standards, confidentiality, and the “do no harm” principle.
● Completing internal documentation and reporting forms within the project in a timely manner.
