Critical bleeding: methods and tools to stop it. Zaporizhzhia 

In a critical situation every second counts. Knowing how to stop bleeding quickly and correctly can save a life. That is why we invite you to join a tactical medicine training, so that you are ready to act in any conditions.

Led by:

Viktoriia Zubkova – coordinator of the military program of the Women’s March, a veteran, a person who went through the war from 2014 to 2024. Her experience is not just knowledge, but battle-tested techniques that work.

What will we learn?

• Types of bleeding. Signs of critical bleeding.
• A quick check for critical bleeding. Personal safety when working with a casualty.
• Methods for stopping critical bleeding
• Tools for stopping bleeding
• Hands-on skills:

• Stopping critical bleeding with direct pressure on the wound
• Applying tourniquets
• Applying a bandage
• Wound packing
• Practicing simulation scenarios

Dress code – long sleeves and pants. And wear something you would not mind ruining – you will spend most of the time on your knees and on the floor.
