Greetings, colleagues!

Insight NGO and the Professional League of Trauma Therapists invite psychologists and psychotherapists who work with and provide direct support to people from LGBTQI+ communities, people with disabilities, people living with HIV, sex workers, people from the Roma community, internally displaced people, and others to take part in this training.

We are glad to present the updated and deepened course program. We listen carefully to your feedback and keep improving our curriculum. This year you will get more practice, hear guest experts from adjacent fields, and have the support of more experienced colleagues.

The training will take place on the Zoom platform.

Registration is open until September 13, 2024.

After registering, we will contact you and invite you to an online interview.

Who will find this course useful and interesting?

The basic module suits all professionals engaged in person-to-person work (teachers, doctors, social workers, psychologists, and so on).
By completing this module you will be able to earn CPD points.

Criteria for taking part in the full program:

  • you are 21 or older;
  • you have chosen the work of a psychologist/counselor/psychotherapist as your first or next profession and want to grow in it;
  • you are studying Psychology in any specialization and are in your fourth year or above;
  • you already have at least minimal experience of working with clients, couples, or groups (6 months +);
  • you work with a range of clients (not only children) and want to broaden your knowledge and skills, namely to be able to work with clients from the LGBTQI+ community and other vulnerable groups;
  • you want to develop your own practice;
  • if you are only starting out in the profession, finishing your degree in Psychology and wanting to grow, then this course is exactly for you!

The training will run through 2024-2025.

At the end of the training there is testing and certification for the courses completed.

You can take part in 3 formats:

  1. Basic module attendee. Suitable for everyone engaged in person-to-person work. At the end, a certificate of participation and a test to earn CPD points.
  2. Attendee. Participation in the training modules and the practice within them, an attendee certificate.
  3. Certification. Participation in the training modules and the practice within them, participation in supervision groups between modules, writing case studies and defending them, an extended certificate of program completion.
