Support (domain here) is a digital platform created by Charity Humanitarian Centre “Abkhazeti” and Centre “Women’s Perspectives” is a digital coordination and networking platform for organizations that provide opportunities for rapid consolidated response to emerged problems and mutual consultations.

The platform is created within the project “Strengthening Capacity of members of Ukrainian CSOs working on Emergency Programmes in Ukraine and Georgia” which aims at building the capacity of Ukrainian NGOs to effectively deliver assistance to internally displaced persons in Ukraine in the situations of continued war and emergency.

Methods of providing effective humanitarian aid

Centre “Women’s Perspectives”Centre “Women’s Perspectives” was established on April 6, 1998 Our mission: upholding women’s rights and supporting equal rights and possibilities of women and men in all areas of life. Our activities aim at: implementing gender policy in Ukraine; combating violence against women and domestic violence; increasing the competitiveness of women on the labour market; assistance in employment and entrepreneurial activity of persons who found themselves in difficult life circumstances promoting women’s participation in decision-making processes in Ukraine. During our activity we have implemented more than 100 projects, helped more than 30,000 clients, conducted sociological research, collaborated with the local authorities, provided legal, educational and informational support to various actors. Our aim is Ukraine where each woman’s rights are respected. Our priorities for action 1. Ensuring gender equality We support: integration of a gender perspective into the work of both state actors and NGOs; women’s equal participation in decision-making processes at all levels; combating gender discrimination in the labour market;women’s participation in entrepreneurship.2. Combating domestic violence We uphold the rights of victims of violence and provide them with the necessary services. Additionally, we support:expansion of state services aimed at victims of violence that would comply with international standards; victims’ unrestricted access to justice; implementation of international standards in the cases on domestic violence;ratification of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (Istanbul Convention). 3. Combating human trafficking We uphold the rights of victims of human trafficking and provide them with the necessary services. Additionally, we support:expansion of state services aimed at victims of human trafficking that would comply with international standards;implementation of international standards in the cases on human trafficking. 4. Assistance in employment and entrepreneurial activity of persons who found themselves in difficult life circumstances We assistance in the involvement of persons who found themselves in difficult life circumstances in labor rehabilitation, entrepreneurial activity and starting their own business. 5. Assisting women’s and human rights organisations We support integration of a gender perspective and promotion of women’s and children’s rights in the work of grassroots organisations and assist newly emerged initiatives. Has implemented more than 200 projects and has more than 80,000 beneficiaries. CHCA operates in 4 directions: 1.
